This policy explains, in general terms, how Fine Art Custom handles information submitted through this storefront. It is written for visitors, customers and people who contact us about artwork or a custom order. It is not a promise that the store collects every category listed below in every interaction; the information used depends on the feature you choose and the details you provide.

Scope of this policy

This policy applies to the Fine Art Custom website, product pages, checkout journey, customer-account features that Shopify makes available, contact messages and custom-artwork instructions submitted through the store. A payment provider, delivery partner or other service may publish its own privacy notice for the information it processes directly. Where another service controls a separate page or account, review that service's notice as well.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the store, information may include your name, email address, telephone number, shipping and billing details, order details, selected product options, delivery messages and the contents of a contact request. A custom order may also include photographs, artwork references, names, written instructions and other files you choose to upload. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card numbers or unrelated identity documents through the contact form.

The storefront and its service providers may receive technical information needed to keep the site secure and working, such as device and browser details, approximate location inferred from an IP address, pages visited, referral information, cookies and event logs. The exact technical data depends on the current Shopify configuration and the browser settings you use.

Where information comes from

• Information you enter during checkout, account use, newsletter signup or a contact conversation.
• Images, instructions and option selections you submit for a custom artwork.
• Information created when an order is paid, prepared, fulfilled or supported.
• Technical information supplied by your browser, device and storefront session.
• Updates from payment, fulfilment or delivery services when they are needed to complete an order.

How we use information

Fine Art Custom uses information only for the store, order and support purposes connected with your interaction. These purposes can include:

• Processing, personalising and delivering an order, including communicating about selected options.
• Reviewing a custom-artwork brief, image or instruction so the requested service can be assessed and completed.
• Answering support requests, resolving delivery or return questions and keeping an order history.
• Protecting the storefront, preventing fraud or misuse and diagnosing technical problems.
• Sending service messages that are necessary for an order, such as confirmation or fulfilment updates.
• Meeting applicable accounting, record-keeping and other service obligations.

Orders and payments

Checkout and payment processing are provided through Shopify and the payment methods shown at checkout. Payment information is handled through the checkout flow and its payment providers; Fine Art Custom does not ask you to send full payment-card details by email or through the contact form.

Order information may be shared with the service providers needed to take payment, prepare an artwork, package an item, deliver it, provide tracking or answer a support request. The selected product page, Easify options and checkout record are the source of truth for the configuration and price of a custom order.

If you upload a reference image or written brief, it may be viewed by the people and services needed to assess, make and support the order. You are responsible for ensuring that you are allowed to provide that material. See Intellectual Property for the store's general rules.

Cookies and similar technologies

The storefront may use necessary cookies or local storage for cart, checkout, account, language, security and basic site functions. Optional analytics or marketing technologies may be enabled according to the store's current settings and applicable requirements. A browser can block or delete some cookies, but blocking required cookies may prevent cart, checkout or account features from working correctly.

Third-party content, payment tools, embedded features and links may set their own cookies or collect information under their own notices. Fine Art Custom does not use this policy to change the terms of a separate provider.

Sharing and retention

Information may be shared with Shopify, payment providers, fulfilment and delivery partners, technology providers and customer-support services when their involvement is needed for the purposes above. We do not sell the personal information you submit through the contact form as a separate mailing list product.

We keep information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose collected, an active order, a support history, fraud prevention, accounting or another legal requirement. The period can differ by record type. When information is no longer needed, it may be deleted, anonymised or securely restricted, subject to backups and lawful retention duties.

Security and international visitors

We use reasonable operational and technical measures appropriate to a small online store, but no website, email or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Use a private connection where possible and tell us promptly if you believe an account or order message has been misused.

The storefront can be visited from different countries. Information may be processed by Shopify or another service provider in a location different from yours. We only describe the general flow here because the actual providers and locations can change with the store configuration. Mandatory rights under the law that applies to you are not removed by this general statement.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may be able to ask for access to, correction of or deletion of personal information, object to a use, restrict a use, receive a copy, or withdraw consent where consent is the basis for a particular use. You can also unsubscribe from optional marketing messages by using the unsubscribe control in the message or by contacting us.

We may need to verify the request before making a change, and some records may need to be retained for an active order, security or a legal obligation.
